Coach K
Coach K is the founder and executive director of KDS Cheer and Dance. She brings 20 years of cheer and dance experience into her foundation of KDS. USASF Certified in Dance, Building, and Tumbling, her professional cheer and dance career and 8 years of athletic training and coaching experience strengthens her confidence and passion for this organization. She is a Charlotte Native that plans to grow KDS and it's family style structure into an athletic training performance family that prepares athletes for a career and supports them throughout their journey of well-rounded growth.

Taneisha
As the Admin Assistant and proud cheer mom behind the scenes, I help keep KDS organized and running smoothly. I'm passionate about teamwork, execution, and creating memorable experiences for athletes and families. I love KDS and look forward to watching the brand, team, and girls grow.
Aaliyah
My name is Coach Aaliyah, Coach A. This will be my second season with the KDS family as cheer competition coach. I am born and raised in Charlotte, NC and attended UNC Greensboro. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated. I am so excited for the upcoming season and can’t wait to bring home wins.
Jordan
My name is Jordan, and I’m so excited to be joining the coaching staff this season! I cheered competitively for 16 years, including at Cheer Extreme Charlotte and Cheer Extreme Kernersville, competing on teams including Monarchs, Lady Elite, Prodigy, Lady Lux, and Open 4. I became a 4x NCA National Champion, Cheersport National Champion, and Bronze World Medalist.
As a coach, I’m very passionate about technique, timing, cleanliness, and uniformity, but I also believe every athlete responds differently to coaching. I love taking the time to learn each athlete individually and adapting my coaching style to help them feel confident, motivated, and successful while continuing to push them to grow. I’m so excited for this season and can’t wait to work with everyone!
Shawnell
My name is Shawnell. I'm from Greensboro NC and I currently attend UNC Charlotte. I’ve cheered much of my life but consistently for the past 4 years on my high school competitive cheer team along with being a co-coach for a local middle school charter competitive school team. I love animals and nature. My coaching style is firm when needed as I have fire and passion for this sport. I can also be laid back still with the expectation of excellence and us giving our best effort when in the class. I am most excited about building a community that makes memories and brings home wins!
